Hello! I’m Laura, thanks for popping over to my site. I always find the About Me so hard to write, so here’s some random information about me. I’m 25 years old, originally from a small town near Manchester, now living in a different small town near Manchester with my two dogs. I work as a recruiter/head hunter for two companies in Manchester, and I also do freelance work for some lovely companies in Berlin. Outside of work I love reading - I love Terry Pratchett and Philip Pullman. I didn’t watch Star Wars until a couple of months before my 25th birthday, but now I absolutely love it. I love going to Festivals (especially BoomTown) and dressing up like I live in the 20s/40s/50s (depending on what kind of mood I’m in). Favourite card games include Kings and Cards against Humanity (the silly answers are the best). I studied photography at Uni – I love food photography and I’m putting together a vegan cookbook in my spare time/when there’s light available (e.g., weekends).

I got into recruiting a couple of years ago, and since then have moved from agency to in house.
